Betrayed

     Of the twelve disciples in which Jesus had chosen to follow him as he traveled the Holy lands preaching the gospel, he also told of the things to come,he told of the betrayal he would experience from one of them. Hearing this they were all sad and began to each say, not I Lord. Jesus replied to them by saying, the one who has dipped his hand into the bowl with me will be the one to betray me. The Son of Man will go just as it is written about him. But woe to the one who betrays the Son of Man for it would have been better for him to have never been born. Then Judas, the one who would betray him said, surely not I, Rabbi, and Jesus answered, yes it is you. Judas was not the only one to betray him, though his betrayal was the worst, Peter, another of his disciples also made the promise that he woulkd not forsake him but he was told that he to would disown him, but Peter declared that even if he had to die with Jesus he would never disown him. All the other disciples said the same.
    Just as Jesus had told them Judsas was the first to betray, he went to the chief priest and asked what they were willing to pay for the location of where Jesus was. They counted out thirty silver coins and handed them to him and he told them where they would find Jesus. Later Jesus was arrested and taken to the high pries where he would stand before the teachers of the law and the elders. When people began to ask Peter if he knew Jesus he began to deny knowing him once, a little girl came to him and aask if she hadn't seen him with Jesus and ahain he disowned him and then a third time. When Peter realized what he had done he ran out of the courtyard and there he wept bitterly in shame for what he had done. When Judas saw that Jesus had been condemned he went to the high priest and returned them their silver, forgive me he begged, for I have sinned against an innocent man. That is your problem they told him. When Judas saw what he had done he was full os shame. He ran from the temple and out into the desert, it was then that he could no lnger live with what he had done and there he hanged himself.

When Christ Comes[Will You Be Ready?}

     I have come to bring fire on the earth, and how I wish it had already kindled. But I have a baptism to undergo, and how distressed I am until it is completed. Do you think I came to bring peace on earth, No, I tell you, but division. From now on there will be five in one family divided against each other. Father against son, mother against daughter, mother-in-law against daughter- in-law. For interpreting the times, he said to the crowd, when you see the cloud rising in the west, immediately you say it is going to rain, and it does. You know how to interpret the earth and the sky. How is it that you don't know how to interpret the present times. Why don't you judge for yourselves what is right? { Luke 12 49:57}
    Yoou also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him.
{Luke 12:40} We live each day doing things to please the world, just as it is written we do know when it will rain by the leaves on the trees or the way the wind blows, yet we are to nieve to address the right way to live according to the scriptures, surely we do not expect Christ to be standing there arms out stretched to the ones who are murderers, liars, blasphemers, theifs all that is wicked and unjust and he will open the gates of heaven without the redemption of the sinner. We are given until the last moment, literally to repent for our sins and transgressions. To accept Christ into our lives, as our Savior, to be forgiven of our sins, no matter how great or how small. We shall be forgiven according to God's plan, and we as Christians will be joined with our Father in Heaven to live throughout all eternity. Let us pray.
     Our Father in Heaven, Bless this day. Lead us oh Lord that we may not stumble into the hands of evil temptation. Help us Lord that we may do the things you would chose for us according to your plan. Help us that we may help those in need, if it is food they need, then let us feed them. If it is shelter then let us offer them a place to stay. Lord help us that we continue to let the power of the Holy Spirit move within each of us so that your will may be done. In Jesus name we pray, Amen..

Warnings and Encouragements

       I tell you, my friends, do not be afraid of those who kill the body and after that can do no more. But I will show you whom you should fear. Fear him who, after the killing of the body, has the power to throw you into hell. Yes, I tell you, fear him. Indeed the very hairs of your head are numbered. Don't be afraid. I tell you , whoever acknowledges me before men, the Son of Man will also acknowledge him before the angels of God. But he who disowns me before men will be disowned before the angels of God. And, everyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but anyone who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven.When you are brought before authorities and rulers, do not worry about what to say or how to defend yourself for the Holy Spirit will teach you at that time what you should say.
     Do not worry about this earthly world or what people think of you as you wallk the path of righteousness, for the Lord is with you. Every step that you talk in this life do not fear for you are not alone. Christ will guide you through, when you feel you can no longer go on, lift your head to the heavens and God shall be your feet, he will help you to take each step forward as you walk the path of faithfulness. When the time comes and yes it will come, when you feel that there is no love left in this sinful world, smile and know that God loves you, that he sent his only begotten Son that he would die for you and me on Calvary so that we could live an eternal life with him in the Kingdom of Heaven. Times will be hard and man will beg for it to be over for God to come and rescue him from the grasp of the wrath which is to come. Be patient my brothers and sisters, no that he is coming soon.Know that this earth as we know it will pass away and we will be lifted up into the new Heaven that he shall create for you and I to live happily, joyfully, eternally, forever and ever. Amen.. Let us pray.
     Our Heavenly Father, thank you for this day, for the ,any blessing you have given to each of us. For the food we eat, the clothes we wear. Thank you for our loving families, our friends and dear Lord thank you for loving us. For carrying us through in these times of worry and despair. Bless us Lord that we may continue to follow you down the path of righteousness and help us Lord that we do not stumble and fall. In Jesus name we ask of these things. Amen.

Unity {In the Body of Christ}

    As a follower of Christ be urged to live a life which is worthy of the calling that he has instilled in each of us. Be completely humble and gentle, bearing with one another in love, for did not Christ show nothing but kindness and gentleness to all even unto the very ones who persecuted him. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called. One Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and one Father of all, who is over all, and through all and in all. But to each one of us has been given as Christ has so chosen for it to be portioned. It was he who gave the gifts to men, some to be apostles, some to be pastors, some to be teachers, to prepare God's people for service so that the body of Christ may be built up, until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attainiing to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.{Ephesians 4-1:13}
      And to us all Christ has given to each of us a gift, take the gift and set forth on an earthly mission to share and to spread the word of God to every living soul, that they to may rejoice in his name. Share with the people that which he has given to you, whether it be in song or in ministry. Whether you are inspired to write it down as a poetic gesture of the power of the Spirit. He will guide you and be your pillar of stone. Do not be afraid for he is with you and he will guide you in the direstion of that which is Holy. Let us pray.

     Dear Lord today is the day that I come to you for guidance in helping me to do what it is that be your will. Lead me oh Lord, that I may spread the word of the Christ Almighty. That every man and woman and child shall know he which has given us all the chance for eternal life in the Kingdom of Heaven. I pray that you feel my heart with praise Lord that I may be able to teach all I meet the gospel according to the scriptures Lord. In Jesus name we ask of these things. Amen...

God's Love and Ours [1 John]

" Dear Friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God, everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.Whoever does not loves does not know God, because God is love. This is how God showed his love among us. He sent his one and only Son into this world that we might live through him. This is love, not that we loved him, but that he loved us and sent his son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. Dear Friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has ever seen God, but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is  made complete in us.We know that we live in him and he in us because he has given us of his Spirit.And we have seen and testified that the Father has sent his son to be the Savior of the world.If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the son of God, God lives in him and he in God. And so we know and rely on the love God has for us.[1 John 5-1:18]
   Just this one simple yet complete paragraph has all the information that we need to know without any doubt, that our Father in Heaven, God, loves us. He loves us unconditionally. He sent to us all the one gift, his only begotten son, Jesus Christ, that he might endure the most grueling, horrific pain any one body could ever endure, all for the love of you and I. He suffered through all the torment to save you and I from an eternal destiny into the pit of hellfire and Brimstone. Our God, our maker took the only thing he knew of that he thought could possibly open the eyes of all of us as a promise to you and I, that if we accepted his son Jesus Christ as our personal Lord and Savior and we believed that he shed his blood so that we too could have eternal life in Heaven. This is a Great and Loving God!!! Let us pray.
    Dear Lord, bless this day. Thank you Lord for all you have given to us. For sending your precious son Jesus Christ to die on the cross for each of us so that if we believe we can have eternal life in the Kingdom of Heaven. Thank you for giving to us these great gifts you have given us Lord. To some you give the gift of ministry, to some the gift of teachers, to others spiritual leaders. To us all you give the gifts which you hope that your will shall be done accordingly. I pray dear God that you continue to use my love for writing so I may help you Lord to reach many who otherwise might not be fortunate enough to be blessed with the Word of God. Bless this day and keep it Holy that we may continue to be your messengers dear Lord. In Jesus name we pray. Amen...

Love is the foundation to happiness

 If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, but have not love, I gain nothing. Love is patient, love is kind,it does not boast it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self seeking. Love never fails. When I became a man I put my childish ways behind me and through the years of imperfections, greediness, thoughtlessness and ill fated temptations Now I know in part, then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known, these three things remain, faith, hope and love, but the greatest of these is love.[1Corinthians 11-2:13]
 My days of transforming into adulthood went by quickly, the selfish little child existed no more. The child had been replaced by a woman of peace and acts of kindness, but the one thing I had grown to stress to my children just as my mother had taught me, the greatest gift we can give to one another is the gift of love. This I found to be of utter importance for the way our lives function during our stay in this earthly world of evil temptations and unrelentless tugging at our spiritual bodies in hopes of turning us away from Christ I discovered even from early childhood that my acts of selfishness got me nothing but loneliness, Nobody wanted to play with me;however if instead I was kind and loving, if I shared and spoke words of kindness I learned I would have a lot more friends. I found this out not of my own accord but through the loving guidance of my mother who was the one who taught me that love truly is the foundation to happiness.I  am so grateful to God for giving me such a loving Mother.She was the foundation, the stepping stone, that walk my sister and I through the days of childhood, teaching us the ways of life, she taught us to be kind and considerate of others feelings. She taught us to give to those in need, to be a good friend, one with. a listening ear and a kind heart, but with all the wonderful things Mother taught us growing up the greatest gift was she taught my sister and I that Love is the true foundation to happiness. She taught us that God is Love, and with that love all things are possible and that there is no greater gift than the gift of Love. God is the light, he is the way, he is the leader, so with our faith and our hope bound together with the Love of God we can make this world a better place. Let us pray.
  Dear Lord, thank you for this day, thank you for the many new friends I have been blessed with on face book. Lord I ask for a network of people to be brought into my life and you answered. I thank you Lord. Please bless this day Lord and help us through the power of your Love to spread the word of scripture throughout the world. In this we ask in the name of The Father, the son and the Holy Spirit. Amen.....

If the LORD comes today! Are You Ready?

   And I, am about to come and gather all nations and tongues, and they will come and see my glory.I will extnd peace t her like a river and the wealth of nations like a flooding stream.As a mother comforts her child, so will I comfort you.
    The Lord is coming with fire, and his chariots are like a whirlwind. He will bring down his anger with fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire.For with fire and his sword he will execute judgment upon all men, and many will be those slain by the Lord.
     AS the new heavens and the new earth that I make will endure before me, declares the Lord, so will your name and descendants endure. From one Moon to another and from one Sabbath to another, all mankind will come and bow down before me.[Isaiah-66-13:23}
      Are you Ready? If you heard the trumpets roar and looked to see the Heavens opened and the Almighty descend down from the heavens, would you be elated, would you be ready to spend the promised eternity in the Kingdom in which the Lord so graciously promised. Have you surrendered your life to Christ? Have you accepted him as your Savior and made it known that you believe that he was sent by the Father so that he would give his life in order that you and I would be blessed with the gift of ETERNAL LIFE,where there will be no pain, no suffering, but a life of love and joy, a life of rejoicing. Are you ready if HE comes today? If you are ready to give your life to Christ, to accept him as your Lord and Savior. If you believe that he died on the cross at Calvary, to save you from a life of eternal hell and damnation, Let us Pray.
     Dear Lord, I ask that you come into my life today, I believe that you died for me, that I to could have eternal life. Take me from this life of sin oh Lord and cleanse my soul that I may be born again. Lead me Lord that I may be your follower of faith and praise and that I may share this love with others. In your name I pray Dear Lord, Amen...

I Am the Way

     I am the way, the light, the salvation unto all mankind.{Jesus]. As Christ traveled the earth he did many wonderful things. He healed the sick, he made the blind see, he took the man who was crippled that he walk again, he cured the man of leporsy, the raised the dead, and yet many non believers refused to believe in him.
     How could such miraculous things seen by the human eye have be done with such doubt? How could anyone turn away from the man who only gave nothing but love to everyone he met, who knew not one stranger. A man who took those by the thousands who were thirsty and hungry and gave them fromjust a morsel of food enough to feet thousands.
     How could the men who he chose to be his apostle still look at him in dismay and question his ability to perform miracles. When he knew that even two of them would deny him brfore his life here on earth had came to it's conclusion. When he was arrested by the betrayal of Judas, he knew that it would happen and he told them, yet they did not believe that one of them would decieve him. And then in front of the high priest he once again was betrayed because his apostle refused to ackowledge him for fear of his own self being persecuted.
    I ask you now, if Jesus came back to earth today, walking and preaching the ministry just as he did those thousands of years ago, Would you accept him? Would you fight to save him from being crucified once again for his loyalty to the Father in Heaven, would you persecute him and choose to live your life in the burning, agonizing pit of Hell? For many of you I know the answer hasn't changed, that you would be just as full of persecution as those before us so many years ago Let us pray.
    Dear Father in Heaven, be with us today and help us Lord to open our hearts to you, to accept you as our Lord and Savior, so that we may join you in eternal life with the Heavenly Father Lord. Help us that our heart of stone may become as that od the kindest love, for you , our family and everyone we meet in our earthly travel. Amen....

A Daily bit of Word (Devotion and Verse): Using Your Strengths

A Daily bit of Word (Devotion and Verse): Using Your Strengths

Using Your Strengths

     Did you know that Satan will not only use your wickedness to tempt you but he will also use your strengths. Know that when you are using the gifts that God has given you that you are using them for God. {Luke 4:18-19}The Spirit of the Lord is upon me.
     Watch yourself closely in your day to day activities, are you putting yourself out there to do for others or are you more consumed with your own wants and needs that you tend to look the other way when you see someone else in need of help.Whether it be an elder person crossing the street that you hurry past because you are running late for an appointment. Maybe it's the mother in front of you at the check out counter who is running a couple of dollars short to pay for the diapers for her baby. Do you give her the money needed to finish paying or do you move to the next available register and think nothing about whether that child will be clean and dry.
    In talking about the gifts God has given us, it could be the gift of having the money to help that mother, it could be the gift of kindness in you helping someone to cross the street. God doesn't give us these gifts to us greedily among ourselves for our own self satisfaction. How many times in reading the scriptures and the travels of Christ do you read about all he did for himself. It was not about him and his needs, but you and I, the rich, the poor, the weak, the strong.It was about salvation. Christ gave freely all that he had to give he gave down to his own life for you and I. How is it after all he did for us that we continue to live greedy, selfish lives. We wonder why we are not happy, why we are struggling to make ends meet, why we feel unloved. Maybe it is because we are lacking the one great thing that will make life complete,"JESUS CHRIST" Let us pray.
     Our Father in Heaven thank you for your continuous patience. Help us Lord that we may look past our own wants and needs and that we do what is right and what is good for those in need of our services through our kindness and generosities. Help lead the way Lord that we see the brighter path to the future is in accepting Christ into our lives and giving him control so that he may lead the way. In Jesus name we pray. Amen..

Live in Unity

    To live in unity, as one with the siprit," The Holy Spirit.Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.Ephesians-{4:3} The Bible tells us to be humble and to love one another, to work together for the greater good of man. Instead of acting out with hatred and jealousy be there for one another through peace and love. Just as Jesus Christ was there for you and I.
    Christ was born into this world as a human, with human emotions and fears. He was lured by the temptations of evil just as you and I have been, yet he stayed true, true to the Father. Christ traveled this earth preaching the gospel to all who would hear and listened. He worked through God to show us that there was indeed a Heaven, A true God, a place where we could all join together again someday in spiritual harmony. How when it is written and we still see the works of Christ in our everyday lives can we hesitate to follow that which is good, that which is pure and true. Did Christ die on the cross so that we to could be saved and have eternal life? The answer to that is yes. Did Christ arise from the dead and then descend into heaven to sit at the right hand of the Father? The answer to that is yes. I say this not only because it is written, but because I feel the work of the Holy Spirit moving within me and the closer I grow spiritually the easier my life becomes. I am happier, I am blessed, I have a spiritual connection with my Lord and Savior that is one of the peace and harmony the Bible speaks of.Let us pray.
   Dear Lord, bless this day and all who are in it. Help us oh Lord to keep the faith. When times may seem hard and sometimes to much to bare, help us Lord that we continue to know you are there, and that even through the times that may seem hard at the time, they are happening for the greater good later on. You put no more on us than we can bare. In your sweet name we pray dear Lord. Amen..

Seeing Clearly

   "And when the south wind blows, you say,It is going to be hot and it is.When you see a cloud rising in the west, you say it is going to rain, and it does.  'Hypocrites! You know how to interpret the appearance of the earth and the sky, but you don't know how to interpret the present times.Luke-{54-56}
    We are told throughout the bible of all things to come. We are given the signs accordingly as they are written. Some are written in the form of parables, but as it is written, if we listen with our ears, we shall ears. If we choose to look and pay attention then we shall see. If we read the scriptures as we are asked to do, the answers to everything that has been and all that is to come is right there in the greatest book ever written, by man, for man, as told by the chosen ones. The Bible is our guide to a more fulfilling life, a spiritual life with Christ Almighty. Let us Pray.
   Dear Lord, thank you for this day, thank you for all that you have given to us. For the words of encouragement and devotion that we have the pleasure of reading through daily scripture. Help us Lord to make reading the scriptures a daily part of our lives so that we can be understand the instructions you have written for us so that we may have a more spiritually filled life. In your name we pray and ask of these things Lord. Amen...

The Power, The Light, The Way

   I am Jesus, I am sending you to them, to open their eyes, to turn them from the darkness to the light, and from the power of Satan to God, so that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in me.Acts-{26-17:18}.
   We are all given such a glorious gift from our Lord Jesus Christ, a chance to repent, to ask him for forgiveness of our sins. We are given the opportunity to accept him as our Savior and to know that he gave his life so that we could also have eternal life and join him as he sits at the right hand of God Almighty.We know the burden we face when we are faced with the fear that one of our loved ones has committed a terrible crime. We suffer and our hearts are broken as we plead for God to have mercy on their soul. Can you begin to imagine the pain that God feels as he patiently watches down among us daily, waiting and watching and hoping that we take that one moment to cry out to him, to accept him, to know that he gave so much more than possibly any of us could ever give, his only begotten son. To save you and I from eternal damnation. Could you give your child's life in the hopes that the world could be saved? That is a question that none of us would ever want to have to answer, isn't it? Yet, God did so without hesitation for we are also his children, made by him, in his image and he loves each of us unconditionally. We have been given free will, but we have also been given a conscience and emotions. God ask very little of us, yet the ten commandments seems to be the hardest set of rules mankind has ever had to follow. Take a look at your life, are you happy? Do you fill that your life is complete or is there something missing that you just can't seem to put your finger on. Maybe, just maybe what is missing from your life is your relationship with Christ. Let today be the start of a fresh new beginning by inviting Christ into your life. Let us pray.
   Heavenly Father, I know that you sent your only son to die on the cross and on the third day he was risen. I know that you did this Lord so that we here on earth could repent of our sins and we to could have eternal life. Please forgive me of my sins dear Lord and help me daily to walk in the path of righteousness Lord, In your name I ask of these things and pray that you be with me always. Amen...

Who was Luke

     The book of Luke documents an accurate account of the life of Christ. Luke presents Christ as the perfect Lord and Savior. Luke was a Greek doctor and a Gentile, he is the only known Gentile author in the New Testament. Luke also wrote the book of Acts and the two books go together.. It is said that the book of Luke was written somewhere around 60 A.D.
   Luke was a very educated man making the book of Luke probably one of the most comprehensive books written.As with the book of Matthew and Mark, Luke also gives an account of Christ birth and Jesus time on earth. He talks of the virgin Mary whom the angel Gabriel visited telling her of God choosing her to birth the child and he would be given the name Jesus. He tells of the account also of Gabriel the angels visit to Zachariah to tell him also of his barren wife Elizabeth's pregnancy in which she would give birth to John, the cousin of Jesus who would lead the way for his ministry.John began his ministry through Judea, baptizing for the repentance   and forgiveness of sins.Luke gives a very accurate account of Christ time, including his crucifixion and resurrection until his decent into Heaven.
   Let us pray, Our Heavenly Father, Bless this day and all that is in it. Thank you Lord for giving us the word of the scriptures, which we may read and follow your direction for a righteous and glorious life. Thank you for all that you have given to us and for sending your only begotten son Dear Lord, that we shall receive him and have everlasting life. In your name we pray Lord, Amen..

A Daily bit of Word (Devotion and Verse): Daily bit of Words

A Daily bit of Word (Devotion and Verse): Daily bit of Words

Daily bit of Words

    Today, think not about what you can do to make yourself a little happier, instead do something to put a smile on another persons face. Take time to make time to spend with family and friends. Give a little piece of your success to someone less fortunate. You'll be happy you did!

Don't Worry

    Jesus said to his disciples;Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat, or about your body or what you will wear.(Luke-11:22).In all this said, Jesus was telling them not to worry for as they were followers of Christ they would be provided for. Just as the lilies are made to grow with rain and the ravens do not reap or sow yet they are provided for by God, so will we be if we allow ourselves to accept Christ as our Saviour and live a godly life.
   As Christ followers were our treasure is, there will your heart be also. I know that I have a life waiting for me in Heaven, a life greater than I could ever imagine. I know that as I give my life to Christ daily that he will provide for me, that I will not go without the necessary means to live in this earthly body.I have given up the greater things in this life for I know there are greater things awaiting for me in Heaven. I do not know the hour and I do not know the day, but I do know that he will come for me someday and I will be ready. Let us Pray
   Dear Lord, Bless this day, and all that is in it. Help us daily Father to walk the path in which you have already prepared for us. Help us to stay strong against all evil that is trying so desperately to pull us away from your loving arms. Dear Lord, I know that I will join you someday and I pray that you help me dear Lord to stay true to you, to be obedient and to do as you would have me to do Lord. In Jesus name we pray. Amen..

Share the Word

   My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirits power, so that your faith might not rest on men's wisdom, but on God's power.(1 Corinthians 2:4)
   You do not need to be a great speaker to share the word of the gospel effectively, the persuasive power is in the story and not the storyteller. Share your personal experiences with Christ, tell those around you what has taken place differently since you have chosen to follow the path of righteousness, you will be truly amazed at just how people will respond to your story, one told with love and with passion. The gospel leaves us with an urgency and a desire to learn more of the word of Christ. The Bible tells us of the most incredible happenings in the history of man.As told through the eyes of the apostles and true believers of the God Almighty. Everything we ever wanted to know about life, death, the resurrection and the true story of heaven and hell, good verses evil and the inevitable fall and wrath of all that is evil. The Bible shares with us the story of salvation through the power of accepting Jesus Christ as our personal Lord and Saviour. Let us pray.
    Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for another glorious day, for good health, for family and friends. Thank you for the many blessings you have given to each of us dear Lord. Help us Dear Lord to tell others the story of your birth Lord and your sacrifice so that we could have eternal life with you in Heaven dear Jesus. Thank you for all that you have given to us freely because you love us. Dear Lord please give me the gift of wisdom in the understanding of the scriptures so that I may be able to share the story of the word of God with others Lord.In Jesus name we pray and ask of these things, Amen..

Prayer

   Our Father who art in Heaven, how will it be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven.(Matthew 6-9:13) Prayer is as important to our lives as communication is to our relationships with our family and friends. Prayer is the vocal point of our relationship to God. It is how we communicate with him about our wants and needs, our desires for the greater good of others and in asking for his guidance in all that we do in our daily lives. Prayer helps us to experience God's love and rewards.
   As we pray, know that it is alright to ask God for things you desire in your life, he will hear your prayers and he will answer you. Watch and listen to what goes on around you in life on a day to day basis, because usually answers your prayers through others. If it is help you are needing in paying bills due to unforeseen circumstances he will usually work his giving through someone Else's gift to you. Always know that anything that is good that happens in your life is a gift from God. Sent to you from your Heavenly Father, who will answer your prayers accordingly. Let us pray.
   Our Dear Heavenly Father, bless this day and keep it Holy. Help us Lord that we to may be more giving to those in need. Let God (Be Your Guide)

   I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go.(Psalms-32:8) Trust in the Lord and he will lead the way. He has promised to guide us through the events that are taking place in our lives.He leads the way through pray and reading of the scripture. As they prayed and fasted the Holy Spirit spoke to Barabus and Saul. ,(Acts 13-1-3)
   Sometimes God may lead us in more unusual ways such as visions or dreams, angels or prophecy.Remember when the angel of the Lord appeared before Joseph to tell him of the events that were taking place and of the seed of life growing inside his beloved virgin wife Mary.Do you think it would have been accepted as well if it had only been in a dream to him rather than having an angel appear. God chose the method he knew would be best for the situation at hand.When you experience a feeling so strong and so full of emotion and something sometimes unexplainable it will be the Holy Spirit working within you, leading you to do or say whatever it is that the Lord is needing you to do.
   .Let us pray, Dear Heavenly Father, Thank you for this glorious morning, for my family and for the new friends you have brought into my life. Lord, bless this day and continue to lead us through prayer that we may do the things which you ask of us Lord.without hesitation. Help me Lord to write the words as you say them to me so that they may bring meaning to those who are reading them. Thank you Lord for your love and continuous blessings. In Christ name we pray, Amen...

JESUS - extraordinary, ordinary

   "Why were you searching for me," he asked. "Didn't you know I had to be in my Father's house.{Luke-2:49} Every year Mary and Joseph went to Jeruselum for passover;however when Jesus was twelve and they went, he did not leave with them when time to go,they did not know he had stayed behind. He had stayed and talked to the teachers,listening to them and asking questions. His Mother Mary was in distress over this for she did not understand how he could do this to them. Jesus went back and stayed with them until he was eighteen years old. He grew both in wisdom and knowledge. God was preparing him for what was to come.At the age of twelve he learned who his Father truly was, yet he did not reject his earthly parents. He lived with them and grew, he helped his earthly Father Joseph. Since Jesus was the eldest of their children he helped build as a carpenter with Joseph. Even though he knew who God was, he was still obedient to his human parents.
   Mary and Joseph did not understand just what Jesus would face later on. They raised him just as any other parent would raise a child. We raise our children, we teach them right from wrong, tell them of Christ and raise them in hopes that they will follow the path that God has laid out for them. Even though it is hard we must let go when our children reach adulthood. It is very hard to send our children out into the world, but we must put our faith in God, that he will teach them the way even when we cannot be there to continue to teach them.Jesus was just an ordinary man, so trust in God that your child as ordinary as they may be will be a devoted servant of the Lord, Let us pray.
   Dear Lord, thank you for your many blessings. Thank you for sending your only begotten son that he to would live his young life as an ordinary every day person, so that he would understand us as the weak,human beings that we are. Thank you for allowing us the gift of eternal life through your son  Jesus Christ. That he would die on the cross so that we would be saved. Lead me through this life daily dear Lord that I may do that which you have set forth for me to accomplish on this earth.In Jesus name we pray,Amen..

Enjoyment

   So I commend the enjoyment of life, for nothing is better for a man under the sun than to eat, drink and be glad."Ecclesiastes-8:15." We need to learn to enjoy what God has given us  to refresh and strngthen us to continue his work. Life is short, and there is one thing that is certain for each and every one of us and that is death. Enjoy the gift of life that he has given us but also enjoy the gifts that go with living.
   Enjoy all things that you have been given such as your spouse."He who finds a wife finds what is good and receives favor from the Lord."{Proverbs-18:22}How sad would it be if you did not appreciate this gift, that he has given to you, someone to share your laughter, to love and honor, to raise your children and to stand beside you no matter what the issue at hand. To have a soul mate, someone to share your deepest secrets, this is one of your most precious gifts from God. To have money, not great wealth, but enough to have the things which we need and to be able to give of that money to those in need. God gives to us that we to may give to others. It is not God's intent that we become greedy with the gift of wealth that he gives to us, but that we share in the wealth by giving freely and lovingly. How often do we hear those who are blessed with great wealth thank the world for their accomplishments instead of thanking the one who actually made it all possible. All praise should go to the Lord Jesus Christ for making it all possible, for without him we would have nothing.  Let us pray.
   Dear Lord, thank you for this day, for letting us join together today as we praise your name and the words that are written through scripture.Dear Lord we thank you for all the gifts you have given to each of us, weather it be in the beautiful blue skies that you created in the heavens above or the financial blessings given through our work Lord, we thank you. Please continue to lead and guide us daily that we may continue to work for you and through your words dear Lord. In Jesus name we pray and ask of these things.Amen...

Faith in Christ

   For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God.{Ephesians2:8)
Because God through Christ paid our penalty for sin and forgave us. We now by faith can experience a fulfilling life of promise through faith that all things are possible through Christ. We respond to his love by trusting in him, by giving all control of our lives to him so that his will be done.God's purpose becomes our mission:therefore we must place all our priorities under his control. God provides his Holy spirit to live his way.
   Do we live God's way are we committed to living his purpose. Have we laid aside our evil desire and do we seek to love others, give to those who are in need and can we say that we live without being judgmental and without bearing false witness against our fellow bothers and sisters. Are we truly living as a unit with God? How can we live by faith to please our Lord and Saviour?Live by faith of the Son of God, who loves you, and gave himself for you. Behold I stand at the door, and knock; if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him.{Revelations3:20}Know that the Lord thy God is the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with all that love him and keep his commandments.
Let us pray.
   Lors, please help me to be faithful, to remember that you are in control of my life. To let you lead me dear Lord. It is you and only you that knows my destiny Lord, and I willingly give all of myself to you ,trusting that you will do all that is good  and righteous for those whose life I can help through you.Lord. In Jesus name we pray. Amen...

Freeway of Salvation

   To be forgiven of our sin, we must believe in Jesus and confess that he is Lord. Salvation comes through Jesus Christ.{Romans 10:8-10}Even though the Jewish people were the beneficiaries of covenants with God himself did this mean that they would be excused from persecution.If some did not have faith would the lack of faith nullify God's faithfulness? No! Everyone has sinned, and the penalty for sin is death. Jesus Christ died on the cross at calvary for our sins;therefore when we accept him and confess that he did this we are forgiven.
   What a glorious feeling to know we now shall have eternal life! But, does this mean that because our sins are forgiven that we may continue to sin,definitely not! We must now live each day through Christ, we must now honor him daily and do the deeds that he wants us to do.Is this easy, probably not at first, but through self discipline and daily prayer and scripture it begins to create a yearning in the soul, a need to follow Christ daily in order to see what he has laid in store for us. Everything we need to live a glorified life is written through the scriptures, it is not just for the chosen few, the Bible is (the instruction manual for the life) for all people who have chosen to follow Christ throughout all eternity. Let us pray.
    Dear Lord, Bless this day and keep it holy. Bless those who are sinners, we pray that they may seek and find you dear Lord. Bless the weak at heart that they may find happiness. Thank you Lord for this glorious day, let it be a day that you may lead us to share the story of your unconditional love for us.in hopes that someone may hear and call out to you and accept you and their Lord and Saviour. Thank you for all you have done for us and for all you have given to us dear Lord, for food, for shelter,for everything that you have given to each of us dear Lord, for none of it would be possible without you. In Jesus name we pray. Amen...

Discipline[The secret to godliness]

   Discipline is the secret to godliness{Timothy4:7-9}Have you noticed in todays world the word discipline has prctically disappeared from our mouths, our pulpits and our culture in general, and yet there is no ther way of obtaining godliness,discipline is the path to godliness.God does not give us an option, he intends for his children to be godly.God wants us to become more like him everyday.It is sure that we will never reach perfection in this life but perfect godliness is the goal in which we must work to lead a life which reflects God daily.
   In order to achieve godliness through discipline means that we must be structured and organized our whole life, it is a daily effort.We must live in the word of God,this means we must read our Bible daily and follow direction as it is given to us through the scriptures. As you continue to read daily you will see in time it will become a habit, and once you have acquired the habit it will become a daily part of life. This is how we discipline ourselves to do God's work, we make it a habit of doing the things that God would want us to do A good man obtains favor from the Lord.   Let us pray.
    Dear Lord, thank you for this day. Thank you for your understanding and your guidance. Dear Lord please continue to help me obtain discipline through your teachings as I read the scriptures daily.Help me Lord that I do the things you would have me to do and to be as you would have me to be. Teach me oh Lord that I may better understand the words as you have written them to me. Bless us today and always dear Lord. In Jesus name we pray. Amen..

A Time For Everything

           There is a time for everything and a season for every activity under heaven. {Ecclesiastes3:1}

   A time to be born, a time to die,a time to kill, and a time to heal, a time to weep, and a time to laugh,a time to keep, and a time to throw away. These are just a few things that Solomon wrote about in his general observation of what takes place in our lives on this earth. He saw that God has a plan and a time for all things to take place.
  The gift of God is that all man may find happiness. Timing is important, The secret to peace with God is to appreciate, discover and accept his perfect timing. Though sometimes we may question why we don't get what we want when we want it, we always seem more grateful for the things we ask for when they seem to come at the perfect time, and he knows when this time should be.Do not get discouraged when you do not recieve what you have prayed for immediately or when you feel you deserve it to happen, instead respect Gods timing for it is perfect.
   Let us pray, Dear Lord, thank you for this beautiful spring day, for the sunshine, blue skies, green grass, for all that you have given to us. Forgive me oh Lord if I sometimes question your timing of the things I pray for,because you dear Lord know the perfect time for all things to take place in my life. Dear Lord help me daily to walk the path which you have laid out for me and if I begin to stray Lord please help me to continue to walk in the direction you have chosen for me dear Lord. In Jesus name I pray. Amen..

Without God in It

   Life without God is a long and fruitless search fo renjoyment,meaning,and fulfillment."Meaningless!,meaningless!"says the teacher."Utterly meaningless!
Everything is meaningless."[Ecclesiastes"1:2]
   Solomon wrote three books, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes,and Song of Songs.
In these books he teaches us the meaning of life without Christ.
Solomon had everything a man could possibly want, money, power
servants,land etc.He had everything and yet it brought him no happiness,
he was still left with an empty and meaningless life because he discovered that
life means nothing without God in itThe book of Ecclesiastes can help to free us
from our struggles for power,approval from others and money, and it can help
to draw us closer to God.
   Let us pray, Dear Lord, thank you for this day, thank you for the friends you
have brought into my life. Thank you Lord for being a part of my life, for giving me
a sense of fulfillment when I felt that something was missing. Dear Lord lead us
through this day and help us dear Lord that we may continue to learn more about
following your direction for life through reading of your guide to life "The Bible".
In the name of Jesus I ask these things,Amen...

Spread the Word

After Jesus resurrection he gave his followers direction to "Go into the world and preach the good news to all creation."[Mark16:15]
Today we can treat our neighbors not as friends but as family. Tell them how grateful you are to have them in your life. Invite them to dinner, let them know that they are special. Invite them to church with you and your family. Tell them of instances where God has blessed your family whether financial, personal,medical etc.You do not have to cram religion down a persons throat in order to spread the word of God. This is all to often what some individuals try to do as they set out to become messagers of Christ.This method only creates tension between you and the ones you are trying to introduce to Christ, try doing it with love and compassion and you will see that people become more fascinated when it is done this way, your personal testimony seems to create a hunger and yearning in them which causes them to want to know more about Christ and experience the blessings themselves. There is nothing more rewarding than watching as a man whose life was empty and meaningless accept God into their life and to watch as he transforms them into a happy spiritual follower of his Lord and Saviour"Blessed is He Who Accepts and Follows the Lord Jesus".
Are you seeking a relationship with Christ? Do you believe that Jesus died on the cross, so that you and I could have eternal life.If so let us pray. Dear Lord I believe that you died for me on the cross at Calvary. I believe that you did this so that I too could have eternal life. Please forgive me of my sins dear Lord and come into my life and save me. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
