To be forgiven of our sin, we must believe in Jesus and confess that he is Lord. Salvation comes through Jesus Christ.{Romans 10:8-10}Even though the Jewish people were the beneficiaries of covenants with God himself did this mean that they would be excused from persecution. If some did not have faith would the lack of faith nullify God's faithfulness? No! Everyone has sinned, and the penalty for sin is death. Jesus Christ died on the cross at calvary for our sins;therefore when we accept him and confess that he did this we are forgiven.
What a glorious feeling to know we now shall have eternal life! But, does this mean that because our sins are forgiven that we may continue to sin, definitely not! We must now live each day through Christ, we must now honor him daily and do the deeds that he wants us to do.Is this easy, probably not at first, but through self discipline and daily prayer and scripture it begins to create a yearning in the soul, a need to follow Christ daily in order to see what he has laid in store for us. Everything we need to live a glorified life is written through the scriptures, it is not just for the chosen few, the Bible is (the instruction manual for the life) for all people who have chosen to follow Christ throughout all eternity. Let us pray.
Dear Lord, Bless this day and keep it holy. Bless those who are sinners, we pray that they may seek and find you dear Lord. Bless the weak at heart that they may find happiness. Thank you Lord for this glorious day, let it be a day that you may lead us to share the story of your unconditional love for us.in hopes that someone may hear and call out to you and accept you and their Lord and Saviour. Thank you for all you have done for us and for all you have given to us dear Lord, for food, for shelter, for everything that you have given to each of us dear Lord, for none of it would be possible without you. In Jesus name we pray. Amen...
