I Am the Way

I am the way, the light, the salvation unto all mankind.{Jesus]. As Christ traveled the earth he did many wonderful things. He healed the sick, he made the blind see, he took the man who was crippled that he walk again, he cured the man of leporsy, the raised the dead, and yet many non believers refused to believe in him.
How could such miraculous things seen by the human eye have be done with such doubt? How could anyone turn away from the man who only gave nothing but love to everyone he met, who knew not one stranger. A man who took those by the thousands who were thirsty and hungry and gave them fromjust a morsel of food enough to feet thousands.
How could the men who he chose to be his apostle still look at him in dismay and question his ability to perform miracles. When he knew that even two of them would deny him brfore his life here on earth had came to it's conclusion. When he was arrested by the betrayal of Judas, he knew that it would happen and he told them, yet they did not believe that one of them would decieve him. And then in front of the high priest he once again was betrayed because his apostle refused to ackowledge him for fear of his own self being persecuted.
I ask you now, if Jesus came back to earth today, walking and preaching the ministry just as he did those thousands of years ago, Would you accept him? Would you fight to save him from being crucified once again for his loyalty to the Father in Heaven, would you persecute him and choose to live your life in the burning, agonizing pit of Hell? For many of you I know the answer hasn't changed, that you would be just as full of persecution as those before us so many years ago Let us pray.
Dear Father in Heaven, be with us today and help us Lord to open our hearts to you, to accept you as our Lord and Savior, so that we may join you in eternal life with the Heavenly Father Lord. Help us that our heart of stone may become as that od the kindest love, for you , our family and everyone we meet in our earthly travel. Amen....

A Daily bit of Word (Devotion and Verse): Using Your Strengths

A Daily bit of Word (Devotion and Verse): Using Your Strengths

Using Your Strengths

Did you know that Satan will not only use your wickedness to tempt you but he will also use your strengths. Know that when you are using the gifts that God has given you that you are using them for God. {Luke 4:18-19}The Spirit of the Lord is upon me.
Watch yourself closely in your day to day activities, are you putting yourself out there to do for others or are you more consumed with your own wants and needs that you tend to look the other way when you see someone else in need of help.Whether it be an elder person crossing the street that you hurry past because you are running late for an appointment. Maybe it's the mother in front of you at the check out counter who is running a couple of dollars short to pay for the diapers for her baby. Do you give her the money needed to finish paying or do you move to the next available register and think nothing about whether that child will be clean and dry.
In talking about the gifts God has given us, it could be the gift of having the money to help that mother, it could be the gift of kindness in you helping someone to cross the street. God doesn't give us these gifts to us greedily among ourselves for our own self satisfaction. How many times in reading the scriptures and the travels of Christ do you read about all he did for himself. It was not about him and his needs, but you and I, the rich, the poor, the weak, the strong. It was about salvation. Christ gave freely all that he had to give he gave down to his own life for you and I. How is it after all he did for us that we continue to live greedy, selfish lives. We wonder why we are not happy, why we are struggling to make ends meet, why we feel unloved. Maybe it is because we are lacking the one great thing that will make life complete,"JESUS CHRIST" Let us pray.
Our Father in Heaven thank you for your continuous patience. Help us Lord that we may look past our own wants and needs and that we do what is right and what is good for those in need of our services through our kindness and generosities. Help lead the way Lord that we see the brighter path to the future is in accepting Christ into our lives and giving him control so that he may lead the way. In Jesus name we pray. Amen..
