Hebrews 11:1-40
Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. For by it the people of old received their commendation. By faith we understand that the universe was created by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things that are visible. By faith Abel offered to God a more acceptable sacrifice than Cain, through which he was commended as righteous, God commending him by accepting his gifts. And through his faith, though he died, he still speaks. By faith Enoch was taken up so that he should not see death, and he was not found, because God had taken him. Now before he was taken he was commended as having pleased God.
Faith is something that I have definitely learned to have over the past several years. If not for faith in the Lord God I would not be able to have came this far. I have faltered, stumbled and failed so many times in my life but, when I accepted God and truly gave my heart to him wonderful things began to happen in my life. I defeated evil temptations through faith, I was healed from medical ailments
through faith in the Father. My life is so much better now with God in it. Without him I was but a broken soul drifting alone in this world but with him I rejoice for I am alive and happy and have the faith and belief to know that all things are possible through him. It is our faith that makes us who we are spiritually. Faith in God works miracles that might never happen if we didn't believe. Let us pray.
Dear Lord, we thank you for this day. Help us Lord that we continue to grow spiritually and that we learn that faith is the answer to our prayers. For through faith all things are possible. I pray Lord that today many lost souls will seek your love, that they may know the happiness that is awaiting them when they allow you to come into their lives Lord. I pray for the poor, the sick, the dying, the hungry and the homeless Lord. I pray for all the children of the world dear Lord, for they are with you always, their protection is given to them through your love. I pray that they not be hurt or burdened or hungered but pray that they know only happiness Lord. In Jesus name I pray that this world know only peace and joy on this day dear Lord. Amen..
