Throughout the New Testament, faith truly plays an important role in Jesus' healing miracles. Jesus taught his followers and believers that through faith, all things were possible, especially healing. Through ones faith, they were healed. One had only to touch him and they were healed of sickness and disease, even death was reversible through Jesus. Jesus would heal through a word or just a simple touch. Healing flowed through Jesus and by simply speaking words, touching someone who was sick or just by allowing himself to be touch, healing miracles were performed. In most of the healing that take place during the time Jesus walks the earth, the faith does not rest in the one being healed but instead it rest in another's faith for the sick person to be healed.Jesus says" All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me"{Matthew 28:18}So we must submit to his authority for our healing. This takes me back to the grain of mustard seed, to have faith this small can move mountains, this has proven so true in my life for when I was a child and new to the faith. I remember having that first glimmer of faith and I remember asking the Lord for healing's of loved ones in my family.When they would return to good health, I would say thank you Jesus for I knew his miracles blessing had been placed upon the loved one.I learned through spiritual growth as the years followed that we must put our whole heart and soul into believing and having the faith that all things are possible through Christ.To say we believe is one thing but to truly believe with all your heart and to hold true the faith in Christ that the healing in which you ask for will be answered without question or any doubt means you truly believe. Let us pray. Our Heavenly Father, bless this day.Thank you Lord for the many wonderful healing miracles you have placed among us. For those who were sick or injured that you made well again we thank you Lord. Help us Lord that we continued to hold strong to our faith in you and all you are able to do for us each and ever day Lord. We know that all things are possible through you. Help us Lord to continue to hold onto the faith and to fight the evil darkness that tries to pull us away from you Lord. Keep us safe in your loving arms, in Jesus name we pray. Amen...
