Live in Unity

To live in unity, as one with the siprit," The Holy Spirit.Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.Ephesians-{4:3} The Bible tells us to be humble and to love one another, to work together for the greater good of man. Instead of acting out with hatred and jealousy be there for one another through peace and love. Just as Jesus Christ was there for you and I.
Christ was born into this world as a human, with human emotions and fears. He was lured by the temptations of evil just as you and I have been, yet he stayed true, true to the Father. Christ traveled this earth preaching the gospel to all who would hear and listened. He worked through God to show us that there was indeed a Heaven, A true God, a place where we could all join together again someday in spiritual harmony. How when it is written and we still see the works of Christ in our everyday lives can we hesitate to follow that which is good, that which is pure and true. Did Christ die on the cross so that we to could be saved and have eternal life? The answer to that is yes. Did Christ arise from the dead and then descend into heaven to sit at the right hand of the Father? The answer to that is yes. I say this not only because it is written, but because I feel the work of the Holy Spirit moving within me and the closer I grow spiritually the easier my life becomes. I am happier, I am blessed, I have a spiritual connection with my Lord and Savior that is one of the peace and harmony the Bible speaks of.Let us pray.
Dear Lord, bless this day and all who are in it. Help us oh Lord to keep the faith. When times may seem hard and sometimes to much to bare, help us Lord that we continue to know you are there, and that even through the times that may seem hard at the time, they are happening for the greater good later on. You put no more on us than we can bare. In your sweet name we pray dear Lord. Amen..

Seeing Clearly

   "And when the south wind blows, you say,It is going to be hot and it is.When you see a cloud rising in the west, you say it is going to rain, and it does.  'Hypocrites! You know how to interpret the appearance of the earth and the sky, but you don't know how to interpret the present times.Luke-{54-56}
We are told throughout the bible of all things to come. We are given the signs accordingly as they are written. Some are written in the form of parables, but as it is written, if we listen with our ears, we shall ears. If we choose to look and pay attention then we shall see. If we read the scriptures as we are asked to do, the answers to everything that has been and all that is to come is right there in the greatest book ever written, by man, for man, as told by the chosen ones. The Bible is our guide to a more fulfilling life, a spiritual life with Christ Almighty. Let us Pray.
Dear Lord, thank you for this day, thank you for all that you have given to us. For the words of encouragement and devotion that we have the pleasure of reading through daily scripture. Help us Lord to make reading the scriptures a daily part of our lives so that we can be understand the instructions you have written for us so that we may have a more spiritually filled life. In your name we pray and ask of these things Lord. Amen...

The Power, The Light, The Way

I am Jesus, I am sending you to them, to open their eyes, to turn them from the darkness to the light, and from the power of Satan to God, so that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in me.Acts-{26-17:18}.
We are all given such a glorious gift from our Lord Jesus Christ, a chance to repent, to ask him for forgiveness of our sins. We are given the opportunity to accept him as our Savior and to know that he gave his life so that we could also have eternal life and join him as he sits at the right hand of God Almighty. We know the burden we face when we are faced with the fear that one of our loved ones has committed a terrible crime. We suffer and our hearts are broken as we plead for God to have mercy on their soul. Can you begin to imagine the pain that God feels as he patiently watches down among us daily, waiting and watching and hoping that we take that one moment to cry out to him, to accept him, to know that he gave so much more than possibly any of us could ever give, his only begotten son. To save you and I from eternal damnation. Could you give your child's life in the hopes that the world could be saved? That is a question that none of us would ever want to have to answer, isn't it? Yet, God did so without hesitation for we are also his children, made by him, in his image and he loves each of us unconditionally. We have been given free will, but we have also been given a conscience and emotions. God ask very little of us, yet the ten commandments seems to be the hardest set of rules mankind has ever had to follow. Take a look at your life, are you happy? Do you fill that your life is complete or is there something missing that you just can't seem to put your finger on. Maybe, just maybe what is missing from your life is your relationship with Christ. Let today be the start of a fresh new beginning by inviting Christ into your life. Let us pray.
Heavenly Father, I know that you sent your only son to die on the cross and on the third day he was risen. I know that you did this Lord so that we here on earth could repent of our sins and we to could have eternal life. Please forgive me of my sins dear Lord and help me daily to walk in the path of righteousness Lord, In your name I ask of these things and pray that you be with me always. Amen...

Who was Luke

The book of Luke documents an accurate account of the life of Christ. Luke presents Christ as the perfect Lord and Savior. Luke was a Greek doctor and a Gentile, he is the only known Gentile author in the New Testament. Luke also wrote the book of Acts and the two books go together.. It is said that the book of Luke was written somewhere around 60 A.D.
Luke was a very educated man making the book of Luke probably one of the most comprehensive books written. As with the book of Matthew and Mark, Luke also gives an account of Christ birth and Jesus time on earth. He talks of the virgin Mary whom the angel Gabriel visited telling her of God choosing her to birth the child and he would be given the name Jesus. He tells of the account also of Gabriel the angels visit to Zachariah to tell him also of his barren wife Elizabeth's pregnancy in which she would give birth to John, the cousin of Jesus who would lead the way for his ministry.John began his ministry through Judea, baptizing for the repentance   and forgiveness of sins.Luke gives a very accurate account of Christ time, including his crucifixion and resurrection until his decent into Heaven.
Let us pray, Our Heavenly Father, Bless this day and all that is in it. Thank you Lord for giving us the word of the scriptures, which we may read and follow your direction for a righteous and glorious life. Thank you for all that you have given to us and for sending your only begotten son Dear Lord, that we shall receive him and have everlasting life. In your name we pray Lord, Amen..

A Daily bit of Word (Devotion and Verse): Daily bit of Words

A Daily bit of Word (Devotion and Verse): Daily bit of Words

Daily bit of Words

Today, think not about what you can do to make yourself a little happier, instead do something to put a smile on another persons face. Take time to make time to spend with family and friends. Give a little piece of your success to someone less fortunate. You'll be happy you did!

Don't Worry

Jesus said to his disciples; Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat, or about your body or what you will wear.(Luke-11:22).In all this said, Jesus was telling them not to worry for as they were followers of Christ they would be provided for. Just as the lilies are made to grow with rain and the ravens do not reap or sow yet they are provided for by God, so will we be if we allow ourselves to accept Christ as our Saviour and live a godly life.
As Christ followers were our treasure is, there will your heart be also. I know that I have a life waiting for me in Heaven, a life greater than I could ever imagine. I know that as I give my life to Christ daily that he will provide for me, that I will not go without the necessary means to live in this earthly body.I have given up the greater things in this life for I know there are greater things awaiting for me in Heaven. I do not know the hour and I do not know the day, but I do know that he will come for me someday and I will be ready. Let us Pray
Dear Lord, Bless this day, and all that is in it. Help us daily Father to walk the path in which you have already prepared for us. Help us to stay strong against all evil that is trying so desperately to pull us away from your loving arms. Dear Lord, I know that I will join you someday and I pray that you help me dear Lord to stay true to you, to be obedient and to do as you would have me to do Lord. In Jesus name we pray. Amen..

Share the Word

My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirits power, so that your faith might not rest on men's wisdom, but on God's power.(1 Corinthians 2:4)
You do not need to be a great speaker to share the word of the gospel effectively, the persuasive power is in the story and not the storyteller. Share your personal experiences with Christ, tell those around you what has taken place differently since you have chosen to follow the path of righteousness, you will be truly amazed at just how people will respond to your story, one told with love and with passion. The gospel leaves us with an urgency and a desire to learn more of the word of Christ. The Bible tells us of the most incredible happenings in the history of man.As told through the eyes of the apostles and true believers of the God Almighty. Everything we ever wanted to know about life, death, the resurrection and the true story of heaven and hell, good verses evil and the inevitable fall and wrath of all that is evil. The Bible shares with us the story of salvation through the power of accepting Jesus Christ as our personal Lord and Saviour. Let us pray.
Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for another glorious day, for good health, for family and friends. Thank you for the many blessings you have given to each of us dear Lord. Help us Dear Lord to tell others the story of your birth Lord and your sacrifice so that we could have eternal life with you in Heaven dear Jesus. Thank you for all that you have given to us freely because you love us. Dear Lord please give me the gift of wisdom in the understanding of the scriptures so that I may be able to share the story of the word of God with others Lord.In Jesus name we pray and ask of these things, Amen..

Prayer

Our Father who art in Heaven, how will it be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven.(Matthew 6-9:13) Prayer is as important to our lives as communication is to our relationships with our family and friends. Prayer is the vocal point of our relationship to God. It is how we communicate with him about our wants and needs, our desires for the greater good of others and in asking for his guidance in all that we do in our daily lives. Prayer helps us to experience God's love and rewards.
As we pray, know that it is alright to ask God for things you desire in your life, he will hear your prayers and he will answer you. Watch and listen to what goes on around you in life on a day to day basis, because usually answers your prayers through others. If it is help you are needing in paying bills due to unforeseen circumstances he will usually work his giving through someone Else's gift to you. Always know that anything that is good that happens in your life is a gift from God. Sent to you from your Heavenly Father, who will answer your prayers accordingly. Let us pray.
Our Dear Heavenly Father, bless this day and keep it Holy. Help us Lord that we to may be more giving to those in need. Let us help those who are less fortunate in giving that which we are able to give Lord. Teach us Lord to be more kind to our neighbors and friends and to continue to do the work you have set out for us to do in your name Dear Lord. We thank you for good health, loving family and friends and of all we ask we do so in your name Dear Lord, Amen..
