Let God (Be Your Guide)

I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go.(Psalms-32:8) Trust in the Lord and he will lead the way. He has promised to guide us through the events that are taking place in our lives. He leads the way through pray and reading of the scripture. As they prayed and fasted the Holy Spirit spoke to Barabus and Saul. ,(Acts 13-1-3)
Sometimes God may lead us in more unusual ways such as visions or dreams, angels or prophecy.Remember when the angel of the Lord appeared before Joseph to tell him of the events that were taking place and of the seed of life growing inside his beloved virgin wife Mary.Do you think it would have been accepted as well if it had only been in a dream to him rather than having an angel appear. God chose the method he knew would be best for the situation at hand. When you experience a feeling so strong and so full of emotion and something sometimes unexplainable it will be the Holy Spirit working within you, leading you to do or say whatever it is that the Lord is needing you to do.
.Let us pray, Dear Heavenly Father, Thank you for this glorious morning, for my family and for the new friends you have brought into my life. Lord, bless this day and continue to lead us through prayer that we may do the things which you ask of us Lord.without hesitation. Help me Lord to write the words as you say them to me so that they may bring meaning to those who are reading them. Thank you Lord for your love and continuous blessings. In Christ name we pray, Amen...

JESUS - extraordinary, ordinary

"Why were you searching for me," he asked. "Didn't you know I had to be in my Father's house.{Luke-2:49} Every year Mary and Joseph went to Jeruselum for passover;however when Jesus was twelve and they went, he did not leave with them when time to go,they did not know he had stayed behind. He had stayed and talked to the teachers, listening to them and asking questions. His Mother Mary was in distress over this for she did not understand how he could do this to them. Jesus went back and stayed with them until he was eighteen years old. He grew both in wisdom and knowledge. God was preparing him for what was to come.At the age of twelve he learned who his Father truly was, yet he did not reject his earthly parents. He lived with them and grew, he helped his earthly Father Joseph. Since Jesus was the eldest of their children he helped build as a carpenter with Joseph. Even though he knew who God was, he was still obedient to his human parents.
Mary and Joseph did not understand just what Jesus would face later on. They raised him just as any other parent would raise a child. We raise our children, we teach them right from wrong, tell them of Christ and raise them in hopes that they will follow the path that God has laid out for them. Even though it is hard we must let go when our children reach adulthood. It is very hard to send our children out into the world, but we must put our faith in God, that he will teach them the way even when we cannot be there to continue to teach them.Jesus was just an ordinary man, so trust in God that your child as ordinary as they may be will be a devoted servant of the Lord, Let us pray.
Dear Lord, thank you for your many blessings. Thank you for sending your only begotten son that he to would live his young life as an ordinary every day person, so that he would understand us as the weak, human beings that we are. Thank you for allowing us the gift of eternal life through your son  Jesus Christ. That he would die on the cross so that we would be saved. Lead me through this life daily dear Lord that I may do that which you have set forth for me to accomplish on this earth. In Jesus name we pray,Amen..

Enjoyment

So I commend the enjoyment of life, for nothing is better for a man under the sun than to eat, drink and be glad."Ecclesiastes-8:15." We need to learn to enjoy what God has given us  to refresh and strngthen us to continue his work. Life is short, and there is one thing that is certain for each and every one of us and that is death. Enjoy the gift of life that he has given us but also enjoy the gifts that go with living.
Enjoy all things that you have been given such as your spouse."He who finds a wife finds what is good and receives favor from the Lord."{Proverbs-18:22}How sad would it be if you did not appreciate this gift, that he has given to you, someone to share your laughter, to love and honor, to raise your children and to stand beside you no matter what the issue at hand. To have a soul mate, someone to share your deepest secrets, this is one of your most precious gifts from God. To have money, not great wealth, but enough to have the things which we need and to be able to give of that money to those in need. God gives to us that we to may give to others. It is not God's intent that we become greedy with the gift of wealth that he gives to us, but that we share in the wealth by giving freely and lovingly. How often do we hear those who are blessed with great wealth thank the world for their accomplishments instead of thanking the one who actually made it all possible. All praise should go to the Lord Jesus Christ for making it all possible, for without him we would have nothing.  Let us pray.
Dear Lord, thank you for this day, for letting us join together today as we praise your name and the words that are written through scripture.Dear Lord we thank you for all the gifts you have given to each of us, weather it be in the beautiful blue skies that you created in the heavens above or the financial blessings given through our work Lord, we thank you. Please continue to lead and guide us daily that we may continue to work for you and through your words dear Lord. In Jesus name we pray and ask of these things.Amen...

Faith in Christ

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God.{Ephesians2:8)
Because God through Christ paid our penalty for sin and forgave us. We now by faith can experience a fulfilling life of promise through faith that all things are possible through Christ. We respond to his love by trusting in him, by giving all control of our lives to him so that his will be done.God's purpose becomes our mission:therefore we must place all our priorities under his control. God provides his Holy spirit to live his way.
Do we live God's way are we committed to living his purpose. Have we laid aside our evil desire and do we seek to love others, give to those who are in need and can we say that we live without being judgmental and without bearing false witness against our fellow bothers and sisters. Are we truly living as a unit with God? How can we live by faith to please our Lord and Saviour?Live by faith of the Son of God, who loves you, and gave himself for you. Behold I stand at the door, and knock; if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him.{Revelations3:20}Know that the Lord thy God is the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with all that love him and keep his commandments.
Let us pray.
Lors, please help me to be faithful, to remember that you are in control of my life. To let you lead me dear Lord. It is you and only you that knows my destiny Lord, and I willingly give all of myself to you ,trusting that you will do all that is good  and righteous for those whose life I can help through you.Lord. In Jesus name we pray. Amen...

Freeway of Salvation

To be forgiven of our sin, we must believe in Jesus and confess that he is Lord. Salvation comes through Jesus Christ.{Romans 10:8-10}Even though the Jewish people were the beneficiaries of covenants with God himself did this mean that they would be excused from persecution. If some did not have faith would the lack of faith nullify God's faithfulness? No! Everyone has sinned, and the penalty for sin is death. Jesus Christ died on the cross at calvary for our sins;therefore when we accept him and confess that he did this we are forgiven.
What a glorious feeling to know we now shall have eternal life! But, does this mean that because our sins are forgiven that we may continue to sin, definitely not! We must now live each day through Christ, we must now honor him daily and do the deeds that he wants us to do.Is this easy, probably not at first, but through self discipline and daily prayer and scripture it begins to create a yearning in the soul, a need to follow Christ daily in order to see what he has laid in store for us. Everything we need to live a glorified life is written through the scriptures, it is not just for the chosen few, the Bible is (the instruction manual for the life) for all people who have chosen to follow Christ throughout all eternity. Let us pray.
Dear Lord, Bless this day and keep it holy. Bless those who are sinners, we pray that they may seek and find you dear Lord. Bless the weak at heart that they may find happiness. Thank you Lord for this glorious day, let it be a day that you may lead us to share the story of your unconditional love for us.in hopes that someone may hear and call out to you and accept you and their Lord and Saviour. Thank you for all you have done for us and for all you have given to us dear Lord, for food, for shelter, for everything that you have given to each of us dear Lord, for none of it would be possible without you. In Jesus name we pray. Amen...

Discipline[The secret to godliness]

Discipline is the secret to godliness{Timothy4:7-9}Have you noticed in todays world the word discipline has prctically disappeared from our mouths, our pulpits and our culture in general, and yet there is no ther way of obtaining godliness, discipline is the path to godliness.God does not give us an option, he intends for his children to be godly.God wants us to become more like him everyday. It is sure that we will never reach perfection in this life but perfect godliness is the goal in which we must work to lead a life which reflects God daily.
In order to achieve godliness through discipline means that we must be structured and organized our whole life, it is a daily effort. We must live in the word of God,this means we must read our Bible daily and follow direction as it is given to us through the scriptures. As you continue to read daily you will see in time it will become a habit, and once you have acquired the habit it will become a daily part of life. This is how we discipline ourselves to do God's work, we make it a habit of doing the things that God would want us to do A good man obtains favor from the Lord.   Let us pray.
Dear Lord, thank you for this day. Thank you for your understanding and your guidance. Dear Lord please continue to help me obtain discipline through your teachings as I read the scriptures daily.Help me Lord that I do the things you would have me to do and to be as you would have me to be. Teach me oh Lord that I may better understand the words as you have written them to me. Bless us today and always dear Lord. In Jesus name we pray. Amen..

A Time For Everything

           There is a time for everything and a season for every activity under heaven. {Ecclesiastes3:1}

A time to be born, a time to die,a time to kill, and a time to heal, a time to weep, and a time to laugh,a time to keep, and a time to throw away. These are just a few things that Solomon wrote about in his general observation of what takes place in our lives on this earth. He saw that God has a plan and a time for all things to take place.
The gift of God is that all man may find happiness. Timing is important, The secret to peace with God is to appreciate, discover and accept his perfect timing. Though sometimes we may question why we don't get what we want when we want it, we always seem more grateful for the things we ask for when they seem to come at the perfect time, and he knows when this time should be.Do not get discouraged when you do not recieve what you have prayed for immediately or when you feel you deserve it to happen, instead respect Gods timing for it is perfect.
Let us pray, Dear Lord, thank you for this beautiful spring day, for the sunshine, blue skies, green grass, for all that you have given to us. Forgive me oh Lord if I sometimes question your timing of the things I pray for, because you dear Lord know the perfect time for all things to take place in my life. Dear Lord help me daily to walk the path which you have laid out for me and if I begin to stray Lord please help me to continue to walk in the direction you have chosen for me dear Lord. In Jesus name I pray. Amen..

Without God in It

Life without God is a long and fruitless search fo renjoyment, meaning, and fulfillment."Meaningless!,meaningless!"says the teacher."Utterly meaningless!
Everything is meaningless."[Ecclesiastes"1:2]
Solomon wrote three books, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, and Song of Songs.
In these books he teaches us the meaning of life without Christ.
Solomon had everything a man could possibly want, money, power
servants, land etc.He had everything and yet it brought him no happiness,
he was still left with an empty and meaningless life because he discovered that
life means nothing without God in itThe book of Ecclesiastes can help to free us
from our struggles for power, approval from others and money, and it can help
to draw us closer to God.
Let us pray, Dear Lord, thank you for this day, thank you for the friends you
have brought into my life. Thank you Lord for being a part of my life, for giving me
a sense of fulfillment when I felt that something was missing. Dear Lord lead us
through this day and help us dear Lord that we may continue to learn more about
following your direction for life through reading of your guide to life "The Bible".
In the name of Jesus I ask these things,Amen...

Spread the Word

After Jesus resurrection he gave his followers direction to "Go into the world and preach the good news to all creation."[Mark16:15]
Today we can treat our neighbors not as friends but as family. Tell them how grateful you are to have them in your life. Invite them to dinner, let them know that they are special. Invite them to church with you and your family. Tell them of instances where God has blessed your family whether financial, personal, medical etc.You do not have to cram religion down a persons throat in order to spread the word of God. This is all to often what some individuals try to do as they set out to become messagers of Christ. This method only creates tension between you and the ones you are trying to introduce to Christ, try doing it with love and compassion and you will see that people become more fascinated when it is done this way, your personal testimony seems to create a hunger and yearning in them which causes them to want to know more about Christ and experience the blessings themselves. There is nothing more rewarding than watching as a man whose life was empty and meaningless accept God into their life and to watch as he transforms them into a happy spiritual follower of his Lord and Saviour"Blessed is He Who Accepts and Follows the Lord Jesus".
Are you seeking a relationship with Christ? Do you believe that Jesus died on the cross, so that you and I could have eternal life.If so let us pray. Dear Lord I believe that you died for me on the cross at Calvary. I believe that you did this so that I too could have eternal life. Please forgive me of my sins dear Lord and come into my life and save me. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
