So I commend the enjoyment of life, for nothing is better for a man under the sun than to eat, drink and be glad."Ecclesiastes-8:15." We need to learn to enjoy what God has given us to refresh and strngthen us to continue his work. Life is short, and there is one thing that is certain for each and every one of us and that is death. Enjoy the gift of life that he has given us but also enjoy the gifts that go with living.
Enjoy all things that you have been given such as your spouse."He who finds a wife finds what is good and receives favor from the Lord."{Proverbs-18:22}How sad would it be if you did not appreciate this gift, that he has given to you, someone to share your laughter, to love and honor, to raise your children and to stand beside you no matter what the issue at hand. To have a soul mate, someone to share your deepest secrets, this is one of your most precious gifts from God. To have money, not great wealth, but enough to have the things which we need and to be able to give of that money to those in need. God gives to us that we to may give to others. It is not God's intent that we become greedy with the gift of wealth that he gives to us, but that we share in the wealth by giving freely and lovingly. How often do we hear those who are blessed with great wealth thank the world for their accomplishments instead of thanking the one who actually made it all possible. All praise should go to the Lord Jesus Christ for making it all possible, for without him we would have nothing. Let us pray.
Dear Lord, thank you for this day, for letting us join together today as we praise your name and the words that are written through scripture.Dear Lord we thank you for all the gifts you have given to each of us, weather it be in the beautiful blue skies that you created in the heavens above or the financial blessings given through our work Lord, we thank you. Please continue to lead and guide us daily that we may continue to work for you and through your words dear Lord. In Jesus name we pray and ask of these things.Amen...
